I just had to share a fabulous success story!
Meet "Rosie". Rosie is a classic bulldog with brachycephalic obstructive airway syndrome. This means that she was born with very tight nostrils and a very long soft palate. I performed her airway corrective surgeries a few weeks ago along with her spay, and here is the lovely photo of her nostrils looking fantastic just 3 weeks later!
The sutures are still dissolving but her nostrils are open and Rosie is doing "better than ever" at home. Rosie has much less risk of heat stoke now and I am so happy to have developed this expertise.
We perform these brachycephalic airway corrective surgeries a few days each week here at Family Pet Clinic and I am very proud to say that hundreds of brachycephalic breeds are breathing better today.
